Group Exercise Class & Pass Information
At the Broadview Heights Recreation Center, we offer a variety of Group Exercise classes and passes are available for purchase by all. Check out our Group Exercise Schedule and class descriptions below and find a class to take today! Email Julian Regotti, Fitness Manager, with any questions.

Looking for a leaner, stronger body? Hate high impact exercises? Our group cycling classes are for you! Our group cycling classes are low impact, high energy and will give you the results you desire in a cycling workout. Most classes are 45 minutes. Rider must be at least 4’11’’ tall to ride. What to Bring: a water bottle, a towel for you, and a heart rate monitor (optional).

Aquacise Aerobics – Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00AM-10:00AM
This is a fun-filled cardiovascular workout along with muscle toning and strengthening. The class will also incorporate various water exercise equipment into each session. Class limit 15. Instructor: Doris.
Ayurveda Yoga (All Levels) – Wednesday 6:00PM to 7:00PM
Ayurveda Inspired Yoga with a seasonal practice in harmony with nature. Cooling in the summer, warming in the winter. Includes breath practice (pranayama) and meditation connecting body, breath, mind and spirit. Props provided.
Beginner Yoga –Tuesday/Thursday 12:00PM to 12:45PM
Perfect for the anyone new to yoga, for any yogi looking to refine their alignment, and also for a therapeutic and slower approach to practice. This level provides a solid foundation of the basics of yoga but all levels are welcome and modifications can be made to increase level of difficulty. You will learn how to align the body from the ground up. Classes build week by week, offering you a unique way to grow in your practice. This class offers the perfect foundation to stay safe and confident for a lifetime of practice! No flexibility needed!
Cardio Kickboxing – Saturday 9:15AM to 10:15AM
This fitness class combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio and strength training. This high-energy workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike. Build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout.
Cardio Intervals - Thursday - 6:00PM to 6:50PM
Ramp up your metabolism and train your body to burn more calories during the workout and up to 48 hours after the workout!! Interval training that incorporates resistance bands, dumbbells, steps and more!
Hatha Yoga (All Levels) – Tuesday - 6:00PM to 7:00PM
This gentle and relaxing form of yoga is designed to align and calm your mind, body and spirit. Focus on breathing and channeling your energy. Perfect way to ease stress and restlessness.
Interval Workout - Tuesday- 9:00AM to 9:45AM **Starting February 4th**
Develop muscle strength and size as well as some cardiovascular endurance in this strength based interval class.
Pump and Pedal – Mondays & Wednesdays 6:00AM-6:45AM **Starting February 3rd**
45 minute, full body workout that combines the cardiovascular workout of a Cycling class and the strength training of a Sculpting class. This class is a great way to start your day!
Restorative Yoga (All Levels) - Thursday - 6:00PM to 7:00PM
Perfect for balancing an active and athletic lifestyle, and relieving stress. The class is slow, deeply nurturing and suitable for all ages - particularly for those with chronic pain and limitations due to overuse of certain muscle groups. For athletes this class is a good way to practice injury prevention. During the long holds of restorative yoga, the muscles are allowed to relax deeply. Props are used extensively to support your body so you can hold poses for a longer periods of time. Incorporating yogic breathing and meditation techniques while your body is supported with bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets.
Vinyasa Yoga (All Levels) – Monday 6:00PM to 7:00PM & Saturday 9:30AM to 10:15AM
This vigorous, vinyasa-style Yoga format is designed to challenge and awaken the body. We will dynamically flow through poses, pairing our breath with the movement, all while placing a great emphasis on posture and alignment to build strength, flexibility, balance and reduce stress. Poses vary every week. This class is for all levels as many variations of poses will be demonstrated. Bring your own yoga mat and come clear your mind while you strengthen your body.
Zumba – Saturday 10:30AM to 11:15AM
This Latin-inspired dance fitness class is a combination of high and low intensity routines in a dance party atmosphere! You will tone your body and burn fat through the intervals of high and low moves. Every week the music and moves are a fresh mix of Latin and pop beats and rhythms. All fitness levels are welcome, no dance experience necessary! You will leave energized and feeling great after every class!
20/20/20 – Friday 9:00AM to 10:00AM **Starting February 7th**
A 60 minute, full body workout. 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of strength training and 20 minutes of core.

SilverSneakers Classic* – Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10:15AM to 11:15AM
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength and range of movement. Hand weights, and balls are provided along with chair for support. Instructor: Joyce Klonowski. *Class offered at no charge to members.
Senior Cardio – Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 9:00AM to 9:45AM
Get up and Go with an aerobics class for you – safe, hearth healthy, and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy following, low-impact movement, upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxing exercises. A chair is available for support and easy head to toe stretching. Instructors: M/T/W Sue, Thursday Erin, & Friday Gina
Senior Mat Class - Wednesdays 10:00AM to 10:45AM
Strengthen your body with exercises mostly done on the mat. Working on core muscles with legs and arms with and without equipment.
Senior Yoga – Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00AM to 11:00AM
This class will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. Instructor - Christine.
Silver Splash - Mondays 11:00AM to 12:00PM
A fun, shallow-water exercise class that uses a signature splash-board to increase movement and intensity options. Splash is suitable for all skill levels and is safe for non-swimmers. The pool provides many benefits when used for aerobic exercise and resistance training. Instructor - Gina
