Mayor Alai performs civil marriage ceremonies for residents of Broadview Heights. Marriage Ceremonies are held during business hours by appointment in the Council Chambers at City Hall. To schedule a marriage ceremony, please call 440-526-3664. Rest assured, it is a short civil ceremony, which can be formal or casual. Family members are more than welcome to attend. Remember, a marriage license must be obtained from the Cuyahoga County Marriage License Bureau prior to the ceremony. Once the mayor signs the license, the Mayor's Office files it with the Probate Court, ensuring the legality of your union.
