All baseball bats used in our league ar to be drop 10 (-10) or lower. The "drop weight" is the difference between the length and weight of the bat. A drop 9 or -9 bat would be legal. A drop 11 or -11 would be illegal.
Basketball games are played on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Due to the opening of our new facility and our desire to utilize it to the fullest, some games this coming season may be played on days that are different than past seasons. A final schedule of game days and times by league will not be available until mid November.

Players may NOT participate on both a school and a recreational team.
There are no practices, only games. Games take place on Saturdays, in the morning for the U5, U6 and U7 teams and in the afternoons for the U9 and above teams.
U5, U6 and U7 games are at the Broadview Heights Rec Center. U9 and above games are played at the Royalton Fieldhouse located at 10701 Royalton Rd. in North Royalton.
Maybe. It will depend on the number of registrations and the number of players that want to play on that team. We will try to do so but may add players to your team that do not have a team.
All U5 through U7 games are played at "The Fields" Sports Complex in Broadview Heights. U9 and above games are played throughout the day Saturday and on some weekdays. U9 and above games are played either at "The Fields" or in a nearby community such as Independence, Middleburg Heights, Parma, etc. Practice days are chosen by the coach and will be at either 5:30 PM or 6:30 PM throughout the week. If you have a conflict on certain practice days it should be listed on your registration form. Although not guaranteed, we will attempt to place you on a team that does not conflict. Each league allows a certain number of players from other communities to play on our teams as well.
Practices will take place during the week , twice per week for about 90 minutes. Practice days will be determined by the coaches.
If the box above the court date on your ticket has an “X,” or is circled, you must appear before Mayor’s Court on the date and at the time shown on the ticket.
If you do not have to appear before the court, here's how to pay your fine:
Please note: There is a $20.00 late fee when fines are paid after the scheduled court date and time shown on the bottom right of the ticket. Any check tendered to the Broadview Heights Mayor's Court that is returned shall incur a $25 returned check fee.
MULTIPLE VIOLATIONS OR A CONTINUANCE
To arrange for a continuance or if there are multiple violations on your ticket, you must speak to the Clerk of Court (440-526-4895 x4) and know your original court date or the date of the ticket.

We need to receive a request for continuance by 4pm the day prior to the original court date. You will need to call the court after you email/fax, to be sure we received the continuance request and we can advise if it was granted.
If you live local or want to come to court to sign a continuance form, this can be done M - F 8:30am - 4:30pm, but only up to 11 am on your court date. The court window will close at noon on court days and open again at 1 :00 pm for court. After 1 :00 pm, you must speak directly to the prosecutor to request an additional continuance.

The mayor does perform weddings for residents of Broadview Heights. They are generally scheduled during business hours, by appointment, and held in the Council Chambers. It is a short civil ceremony. A marriage license must be obtained from the Cuyahoga County Marriage License Bureau prior to the ceremony. Contact the Mayor’s office at 440-526-3651 for exceptions to this procedure.
All requests must be made in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests should be made at least 10 business days in advance of the date the document is needed. The exception to this rule is condolence requests- these should be made as soon as possible after a person’s passing. View the City Proclamation Guidelines.
