PRESS RELEASE:
2/10/2026 – 2026 CHARTER REVIEW COMMISSION Commences on February 17, 2026
The City Charter is reviewed every four years by the City Boards and Commissions, Council, and the Mayor, and a select group of qualified individuals representing Wards 1-4. The Charter Review Meeting starts on Tuesday, February 17th, and will continue as needed to examine the City Charter, determine whether changes are required, and make recommendations for voters to consider at the November election.
Residents can participate by attending meetings, submitting items for consideration, and, ultimately, voting on proposed amendments. Items for consideration will be received until March 24th and can be sent to cityhall@broadview-heights.org or to the Mayor’s Office at 9543 Broadview Road.
All meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall and are open to the public. The Broadview Heights Charter and meeting schedule are on the city website at www.broadview-heights.org. For any questions, please contact the Recording Secretary, Lisa Putka, via email at lputka@broadview-heights.org or by calling 440-526-3664.
