    The meeting will begin with a review of the 2018 garden club events and then take a look at what's planned for 2019. Co-Chairs will also give an overview of the July 2019 70th Anniversary Flower Show. There will be cake to celebrate the 70th Anniversary. Chippewa GC is a member of the Garden Club of Ohio and the Nation Garden Clubs, Inc. The rewards of joining a garden club go far beyond the pleasures of growing things. Becoming a member is simple and inexpensive. Yet membership opens the door for you to explore a wide range of common interests with people. Grow your knowledge, garden for a purpose, participate in learning programs, promote environmental causes, grow your own edibles, enhance your garden's sustainability, nurture your inner artist with floral design study and flower shows, learn from those with experience and pass on to new generations, share your love of gardening, and have fun!

  3. Greene Acres Community Garden Meeting

    This meeting is open to the general public for those already having a garden plot AND those WISHING to have one in the 2019 growing season. If a plot is available that day, and guests are a Broadview Heights resident, have a business in the City, or are a member of Chippewa Garden Club, they can enroll that day. Cost for a plot is $30 and can be paid by cash of check. Details can be found on the website. Greene Acres is a 501c3 Corporation and donations are welcome.

    The BBHHS Vocal Music are presenting "Ticket to Broadway" featuring Music in Motion, along with guest appearances. Following the performances, guests will partake in a wonderful dessert reception where current students will entertain in a cabaret setting. All proceeds from this fundraiser benefit all students in the choral program at BBHHS.

  6. Taste of Broadview Heights

    January 30, 2019, 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ St. Sava Church Hall

    Sponsored by The Broadview Heights Community Foundation, this annual event is one of the biggest in Broadview Heights every year. Seventeen local restaurants and caterers will showcase their culinary talents. Musical entertainment and raffle baskets will be a part of the event. Each of the caterers and restaurants will donate samples from their menus for the attendees to enjoy. Craft beer and fine wine, along with soft drinks, are included in the ticket price. Tickets can be purchased at City Hall or at Fuerst Automotive. A limited number of tables of 10 can be reserved. Proceeds from The Taste of Broadview Heights will be used to support events in the city as well as the construction of the ampitheater at Broadview Center. Over the years, the Foundation has donated over $45,000 to benefit the residents of Broadview Heights.
