1. Can I request a coach or to play with a friend?

Although special requests are not guaranteed, as long as you register before the registration deadline we will make every effort to accommodate your request to play with a friend although the number of requests honored may be limited. We no longer accept requests to play for a particular coach. Under certain circumstances requests will not be honored in order to facilitate team equality.

2. When will I hear from a coach?

Coaches are selected and teams are formed after the registration deadline. This can take up to 4 weeks. You should hear from a coach about 4 weeks after registration ends.

3. Where are games played?

Games are played at "The Fields" sports complex located at 8938 Broadview Road. click here for a map of "The Fields"

4. How will I know if a game or practice is rained out?

Our Parks and Recreation rainout line is no longer in use. We will now be utilizing a texting service through Rainedout.com

5. I want to change leagues.

You need to first register in the age appropriate league. Submit a league change form. After the registration deadline, we will review and either accept or deny the change. If your request is denied, you can receive a refund on your registration fee.

6. What bat restrictions are in place for my league? High School

High school age leagues are all required to use BBCOR bats.

BBCOR stands for “Batted Ball Coefficient of Restitution.” This standard regulates how much energy is lost during the bat’s contact with the baseball. The higher the number a bat registers in the test, the more trampoline effect it has. The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) decided that 0.50 would be the maximum value a BBCOR bat could achieve; which is only slightly higher than that of a wood bat. All BBCOR certified bats must also have a barrel diameter no greater than 2 ?”, a length to weight ratio no greater than -3 and a length that does not exceed 36”.

All BBCOR bats will have a BBCOR certified label.

7. What bat restrictions are in place for my league? Non-High School Age

All baseball bats used in our league ar to be drop 10 (-10) or lower. The "drop weight" is the difference between the length and weight of the bat. A drop 9 or -9 bat would be legal. A drop 11 or -11 would be illegal.
