The Human Services Department is working with We Thrive Together and other organizations across Northeast Ohio to create some great online programming for anyone who wishes to participate. A variety of programming is being offered, including support groups, bingo, exercise classes, cooking and baking classes, trivia, presentations, and much more. You’ll find a full list of programming on WeThriveTogether.org. After registering for an event, you’ll receive instructions to join the online program either by telephone or any internet-ready device. During this time, it is important for older adults to limit contact with others. This social isolation can be quite lonely. The Human Services Department may be temporarily closed, but urges seniors to still stay active. Below are great links to help anyone of all ages to stay mentally and physically active. As always, you can call the Senior Center for questions. 440-526-4074
