NATURAL GAS PROGRAM Broadview Heights residents voted to participate in a utility consortium which allows the City to negotiate a discount program in their behalf. The City entered into a contract with Volunteer Energy Services, Inc. (VESI). (Note that VESI may not be listed in the PUCO's "Apples to Apples" chart because they only sell to consortiums such as ours.) Our variable rate for the gas used during the month of August is $6.62 per mcf. Eligible residents (those not under contract with other suppliers) are signed up unless they respond that they do not want to be part of the discount program. New residents, or those whose contracts end after the enrollment period, may sign up by sending an e-mail to mskaggs@veenergy.com.
