On Nov. 4th, the City of Broadview Heights had a number of issues on the ballot. All of the issues PASSED.

REZONING ISSUES / CHARTER AMENDMENTS

ISSUE 15 - PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT: Shall part of Permanent Parcel No. 583-18-008 located at the corner of Kenmar and Route 82, Broadview Heights, be rezoned from E-1 (Office-Laboratory) to C-2 (Commercial-General)? YES OR NO

ISSUE 16 - PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT: Shall Permanent Parcel No. 583-20-011 located at 301 Treeworth Blvd., Broadview Heights, be rezoned from E-2 (Light Industrial) to C-2 (Commercial-General)? YES OR NO

ISSUE 17 - PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT: Shall Article V, Section 8(d)(3) of the Charter of the City of Broadview Heights be amended to provide that Council can override the action of the Board of Zoning Appeals on any non-residential matter by an affirmative vote of two-thirds of its members? YES OR NO

ISSUE 18 - PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT: Shall Article V, Section 8(d)(1) of the Charter of the City of Broadview Heights be amended to provide that the standard for the granting of a variance by the Board of Zoning Appeals be practical difficulties? YES OR NO

ISSUE 19 - PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT: Shall Article V, Section 8(d)(2) of the Charter of the City of Broadview Heights be amended to provide that a variance that has been granted pursuant to Section 8(d)(1) of the Charter, unless acted upon, shall expire within one year from the date which the variance is granted? YES OR NO

ISSUE 20 - PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT: Shall Permanent Parcel No. 583-20-009 located at 4501 East Royalton Road, Broadview Heights, be rezoned from C-3 (Office Space) to C-2 (Commercial-General)? YES OR NO

ISSUE 21 - PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT: Shall Permanent Parcel No. 583-20-013 located at 4601 East Royalton Road, Broadview Heights, be rezoned from C-3 (Office Space) to C-2 (Commercial-General)? YES OR NO

ISSUE 22 - PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT: Shall Permanent Parcel No. 583-20-017, located behind Treeworth Plaza in Broadview Heights, be rezoned from E-1 (Office/Laboratory) to C-2 (Commercial-General)? YES OR NO

ISSUE 23 - PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT: Shall Permanent Parcel No. 583-27-007, located at 1550 East Royalton Road, Broadview Heights, be rezoned from A-1 (Single Family) to C-3 (Office Space)? YES OR NO

ISSUE 24 - PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT: Shall Permanent Parcel No. 583-14-016, located at the corner of Avery Road and Route 82, Broadview Heights, be rezoned from A-1 (Single Family) to C-3 (Office Space)? YES OR NO

ISSUE 25 - PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT: Shall Permanent Parcel Nos. 583-20-003, 583-20-005, 583-20-006, 583-20-007 and 583-20-008, located at East Royalton Road, Broadview Heights be rezoned from E-1 (Office/Laboratory) to C-2 (Commercial-General)? YES OR NO
