The Mayor’s Court of Broadview Heights, Ohio has jurisdiction to hear and determine misdemeanor cases involving the alleged violation of Broadview Heights ordinances and State codes. These cases involve general criminal matters as well as traffic violations. All such cases involve occurrences within the City of Broadview Heights, Ohio.

The Clerk of the Broadview Heights Mayor’s Court is responsible for maintaining the books and records of the court. The Clerk keeps the court journal and dockets, receives all fines, bonds and waivers, and maintains all records of receipts and disbursements. |

If the box above the court date on your ticket has an “X”, or is circled, you MUST APPEAR before Mayor’s Court on the date and at the time shown on the ticket.
If you do NOT have to appear before the Court, here’s how to pay your fine:
If the box above the court date on your ticket DOES NOT have an “X”, or is NOT circled, you can pay your fine by mail. It must be received in the Clerk of Court’s office NOT LATER than the court date noted on the bottom of the ticket. You can pay with a certified check or money order. Mail it within seven (7) days of the citation to: Broadview Heights Mayor’s Court, 9543 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights, Ohio 44147.. On your certified check or money order, please include the date of your citation, citation number, and your phone number with area code. Sign the back of the ticket/citation and return it with your payment.
To arrange for a continuance or if there are multiple violations on your citation, you MUST SPEAK to the Clerk and know your original court date or the date of the citation.
Note: There is a $20 late fee per offense when fines are paid after the court date.
NOTICE: Any check tendered to the Broadview Heights Mayor’s Court that is returned shall incur a $25 returned check fee.
