  2. Presentation about Gertrude Jekyll, British Designer and Artist

    September 26, 2017, 7:00 PM @ Brecksville Community Center

    Gary Esmond, a speaker from the Cleveland Botanical Garden, will present a talk on Gertrude Jekyll (1843-1932). Ms. Jekyll, a British Designer and Artist, created more than 400 gardens in the UK, Europe, and America. She was one of the first designers to take into account "color, texture, and the experience of the garden". Her gardening books are still in use today. This is hosted by the Chippewa Garden Club.
