  2. Comedy "The Importance of Being Earnest"

    August 24, 2018 - September 8, 2018 @ Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater

Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy is about dashing men-about-town John Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff who pursue fair ladies Gwendolen Fairfax and Cecily Cardew. Matters are complicated by the imaginary characters invented by both men to cover their on-the-sly activities—not to mention the disapproval of Gwendolen’s mother, the formidable Lady Bracknell. There will be a special performance on Thursday, September 6th. Proceeds benefit the Broadview Heights Community Foundation which is helping fund the new amphitheater at Broadview Center. Fundraiser tickets are $30 each and include an Hors d’oeuvre Reception at 6:30 PM prior to the show, dessert at intermission, and a non-alcoholic Beverage Bar. Guests may bring their own wine to enjoy during this special event (glassware provided). Tickets can be purchased at Fuerst Automotive at Broadview & Wallings.
