Thomas Pavlica

Tom has been a resident of Broadview Heights in Ward 1 for 25 years. He and his wife, Karen (Anguilano) have been married for 33 years and have two children: Angela, who resides in San Antonio, Texas, and Tommy, who resides in Columbus, Ohio. Tom is retired from the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District after 34 years, where he worked as a Senior Construction Manager. He has served on Council since 2008. His community involvement includes: Member of Broadview Heights Historical Society; Member of Knights of Columbus (Assumption Church); Member of Northeast Ohio City Council Association (NOCCA); Member of Cuyahoga Valley Republicans; Member of C.A.M.E.O.; Member of Assumption Church; Key Communicator, Brecksville-Broadview Heights and North Royalton Schools; and former coach in City of Broadview Heights softball, soccer, and basketball programs. His Council experience includes: Broadview Heights City Council (2008 to present); Chairman, Recreation Committee (2008 to present); Chairman, Parks and Recreation Board (2008 to present); Chairman, Storm Water Task Force; Member of Service/Safety Committee; Building Codes/Public Buildings/Growth Planning and Zoning Committee; Planning Commission and Civil Service Commission; Former Chairman, Architectural Review Board; and Former Member, Rules Ordinances and Franchises Committees; Council Representative to the Broadview Heights Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; Broadview Heights Healthcare Committee. Tom invites residents to contact him at any time with their concerns and comments. He is responsive to his constituents and can be reached by phone or by e-mail. Although he represents Ward 1, he has always had a listening ear to all residents of the City. He also strongly encourages the support of local businesses. His dedication is evident in all he does, and he firmly believes that Broadview Heights is a great place to live, work, and raise a family!
