2018 Charter Review has Commenced

Every four years the City Charter is reviewed by a selected group of qualified individuals that represent Wards 1-4, The City Boards and Commissions, Council and the Mayor. The Charter Review Commission meet weekly for as long as necessary to examine the City Charter, decide if changes are necessary and make recommendations for the voters to consider at the November election.   Charter Review meetings are typically held on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers. Please make sure to check the City Calendar for upcoming meeting dates.

Items for consideration by the Charter Review Commission must be submitted in writing by April 30, 2018 to the Mayor’s Office, 2nd floor, 9543 Broadview Rd.

The Broadview Heights Charter is on the City website:, located at the bottom of the Home Page.  For additional information, please contact the Recording Secretary, Lisa Putka, via email: or call 440-526-3651.
