Personal Training

Personal training is available for anyone that is interested in having individual workout sessions or gaining knowledge in strength training. Registration is handled directly through the trainers. Please contact the trainer you wish to meet with at their contact number listed below. Non-members must pay the daily drop-in fee for each session. Discounted multi-session packages are available through the instructor.
Rhonda Miko

Rhonda is Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) certified as well as Johnny G. certified. She offers a flexible schedule and is open to any of your needs. "Rhonda's personal training encompasses all ages in her client base as well as targeting sports specific, weight loss and strength objectives. Success has been proven throughout her fifteen years of holding a very diverse clientele.

Anyone interested in training can meet with Rhonda for a 30 minute Free Consultation, prior to purchasing a fitness package. Denise Moore
Denise has certifications in AFAA, Personal Training, Group Exercise, Indoor Cycle Instructor, SeniorFITness Exercise Specialist, Performance Coach and American Red Cross CPR. Denise has been training since 2003 and trains all fitness levels and age groups. She offers one-on-one training or small group training to help you achieve your goals. Fredrick Peters- PhD, MBA, CPT

Fredrick holds a Bachelor’s concentration in Biomedical Sciences as well as a Master’s degree in Health Administration and Doctorate in Exercise Physiology.   He also holds a certificate in Emergency Medicine. He is a Professor of Sports Medicine at the University of Akron and specializes in cardiovascular health, weight loss, rehabilitation, strength training, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), sport-specific training, intermediate yoga, and nutritional advising.
Dr. Peters is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and has been training individuals for over 10 years. Fred works with individuals of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels. Workouts will be tailored to you following an initial assessment.

Kerry Fairchild- RD, LD
Kerry is a registered, licensed dietitian and has been practicing nutrition counseling since 1998. She has worked closely with clients to help identify problematic dietary behaviors with behaviors, set realistic goals and provide the necessary follow-up support to achieve those goals.  She has extensive experience working with weight loss, weight management, family meal planning, infant and toddler feeding, and dietary management of diseases states (i.e. cardiovascular disease).
